O novo álbum do Violator chega com aquela pegada brazuca dos anos 80, trazendo à memória a agressividade e a autenticidade de clássicos como Sepultura, Sarcófago e outras lendas do metal nacional. Ao mesmo tempo, a banda mantém sua identidade intacta, incorporando riffs com forte influência do death metal, o que dá ainda mais peso e brutalidade ao trabalho.

Para mim, este disco soa como um grande tributo tanto aos fãs fiéis do Violator quanto à história do metal extremo brasileiro. Faixas como “Hang the Merchants of Illusion”, “Persecution Personality” e “Chapel of the Sick” (essa com uma pegada bem Slayer, hehe) mostram todo o encanto dessa nova fase da banda.

O resultado é um álbum extremamente inspirado, carregado de energia, riffs matadores e respeito às raízes. Um trabalho muito, mas muito foda, que reafirma o Violator como um dos grandes nomes do metal extremo nacional.
